Moreno Valley wins “Award of Distinction” in
statewide communications competition
The California Association of Public Information Officials (CAPIO) presented the City of Moreno Valley with an “Award of Distinction” for Excellence in Communications in the video production category for “City Watch,” MVTV-3’s quarterly news program.
The award is a second place prize in CAPIO’s annual communications competition. The first place prize went to the City of Glendale. The other cities in the category were Anaheim and Santa Clarita.
CAPIO Awards are presented annually to honor outstanding public agency information and communications programs. Judging criteria for CAPIO’s video production category include achievement of program objectives, creativity, effectiveness, and scripting.
City Watch is produced locally by the MVTV-3 staff: Louis Rocha, Dominic Durden, Robert Roseen, Steve Jacobs and Angela Rushen.
