MVTV-3 wins two national awards in nationwide communications competitionMoreno Valley’s government access cable television channel, MVTV-3, has won two national awards from the City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA). The first place Savvy Award was awarded in the Public Service Announcement (PSA) category for “American Sign Language” class. The second place, Silver Circle Award was awarded to MVTV-3 for their news program “City Watch.” The announcement was made Thursday, August 25, 2005, at the 3CMA annual conference in Atlanta, Georgia. 3CMA’s mission is to improve government/citizen relationships by recognizing local innovators who achieve the highest ideals of public service through the power of communications and marketing. MVTV-3 staff is: Louis Rocha, Dominic Durden, Rob Roseen, Rod Labuni, Steve Jacobs and Angela Rushen. This is MVTV-3’s 6th national award and 17th overall award since 2001. City Watch and the American Sign Language PSA will air on Adelphia cable, channel 3 throughout the month of September.
