P. 3

During the 2024 State of the City, the Mayor and City Council proudly shared our most recent
accomplishments and outlined a promising future, highlighting the community’s spirit, diversity,
       and progress.

Our city also came together to celebrate a major milestone—our 40th anniversary—at the annual
tree lighting ceremony. Looking ahead to the next 40 years, the Mayor and City Council remain
committed to transformative infrastructure improvements, enhanced public safety measures,
continued parks rehabilitation and refurbishment, expanded community programs, and attracting
Fortune 500 companies to create additional jobs with a skilled workforce prepared for the future.
Thousands of residents and visitors joined us in celebrating Moreno Valley’s rich and diverse cultures
at holiday events and took part in Community Days of Service and Beautify MoVal events. These
gatherings strengthened our community’s spirit of volunteerism, encouraged physical activity, and
       fostered a love of nature.

These accomplishments are clear proof that our community continues to move full speed ahead
in achieving the Council’s vision for a prosperous, economically vibrant city. The following report
offers an overview of the efforts made to realize our collective goal of making Moreno Valley the
ideal place to live, work, and play.
